ET has opened a debate on "Is Premji right to go against job quotas in Wipro?
As expected most of the posts agree with him...
here is someone who put his point in a v diff way... :))

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for Muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that.
Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century. We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.
Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters. There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country.. ). Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers>and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..).
Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN... May the good breed of politicans like ARJUN SINGH long live...

All these are worthy suggestions. But I have my own issues with reservations.
I think in this whole debate about reservations, the one community that has truly lost out is the cult of the Cthulhu. The Cthulhuists have long been misunderstood, discriminated against, burnt at stakes and suffered countless abominations. If there is a section of society that ever deserved retribution, it is the Cthulhuists. Sadly, there have not been enough supporters of this peaceful community in India (probably in fear of fundamentalist religious organizations). Please help me in generating awareness for this noble cause by starting a signed petition for the same.
ps: Cthulhuists should NEVER be confused with scientologists, who are just plain loony.
4 days left for next session of parliament to start. goverment thinking about increasing the number of seats in top colleges. but quota increases aswell.so obvious - the only middle path they can take at this moment.
Guys, let us start a revolution. Let there be 100% Reservations! Let there be a new parallel education / job system, where the students / workers, management and even the friggin sweepers are appointed with reservations. And let there be 0% reservations in all the other institutions.
The time the OBC etc is born, he will have a certain admission into the reservation education system. He can study till whatever time he wants to. The teachers too are 100% from the reservation cadre. The reservation student after completion of his studies, will have an assured job in the Government. After all, didn't Nehru say that another purpose of the Public Sector was to generate employment?

Anyway i wanted to put more fact on this reservation issue , when our constitution was written that time only Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had very clearly mention that this resvervation should only exsit for 25 years after that it should abloished.
Just for the sake of cast vote bankng these F type politicians had never try to do this . I du know how long they i wanted to use this for their own sake.
One more thing this reservation system will never help to uplift of OBC/ST/SC communities its only education which helps. N i strongly disapprove anykind of reservation for that matter reservation for women also .
